There are Stars

Driving along past city lights

On the highway all I see

Glass and concrete

Steel and smog, cars and fog

I know there are stars

Above my head somewhere

Higher than streetlights

Brighter than headlights

More than a dream that no one else can see

There are stars, I've seen them shine

Out where I'm safe from smoke and grime

There's a moon and there's a sun

Somewhere up above, there are stars
