Lonely Hearts Club
This lonely heart
wants just to not feel alone
She wants to join
a club where she will be known
For exactly who
she is and not for what they think
This lonely heart
wants just to have a friend
She wants speak
her mind with an audience
Who will applause
and not tell her not to think
But everywhere
she looks all the clubs are closed
They say she has
to drink and she feels indisposed
So they won't
have her and she's forced to hit the road
If there is one
thing that she would like to say
It's that she's
sorry that they were raised that way
Isn't there
anybody who can laugh the tears away
This lonely heart
tries to seek company
She hopes the
world holds some love for normalcy
And finds that
all the crazies just want to be loved
This lonely heart
starts to kick off the weight
Of everybody's
problems and everybody's state
And breaks all
the bottles in the club of lonely hearts
Everywhere she
looks all the clubs are closed
Nobody wants to
drink 'cause they're all indisposed
She says she'll
have them and they hit the road
If there is one
thing that they'd like to say
It's that they're
sorry that they never looked her way
And now they are
people who laugh the tears away
