Chasing the Wind
Remember when we
chased down the wind
On that summer's
eve when the sun had gone dim
And the night was
upon us as the dark came creeping in
Do you remember?
How we dreamed of
warm Septembers
When the crickets
kept us company
Singing lonely
songs of lonely souls
Not worth
remembering
Do you remember
sitting side by side with me
Catching our
breath chasing the wind
Those were the
days when we let our spirits free
Wild and
uncontrollable, we'd play tag with the sea
And sunsets on
the sand every day just like a dream
Do you remember?
We believed in
magic
We believed in
fairy tales
Believed in
something that we couldn't see
Chasing at our
tails
Something just
around the corner
Waiting out of
sight
We believed that
things would never changes
We'd always have
these summer nights
Remember when we
met again after so much time
It felt so
strange to smile at you, feel your hand in mine
And we tried to
tell our stories, every second of our lives
Do you remember?
How we dreamed of
warm Septembers
When the crickets
kept us company
Singing lonely
songs of lonely soul
Not worth
remembering
Do you remember
sitting side by side with me
Catching up each
other after chasing down the wind
And finding round
the corner was just another bend
And how souls are
so much lonelier
When they let go
of what's happier
Belief in magic
and tales of summer nights
